Introduction
Over the course of our
life experiences we have been exposed to various
teachings and reading a number of authors that have
impacted our understanding of our relationship with
God or YHVH, as the Hebrew scriptures refer to Him.
The most important author/writer is YHVH Himself who
personally authored the Torah (1st 5 books of the
Old Testament) and hand delivered them to Moses on
Mt. Sinai. At the end of the Torah, YHVH states that
this "Chalacha" or pathway to walk through life, is
meant for us to experience life and blessings. He
further says, "Behold, today I have put before you
life and death, blessings and curses; now choose
Life!" Many teachers and authors of today would have
us believe that this path prescribed by YHVH
Himself, has somehow changed or taken on a different
nature because we live in different times under
different circumstances. I submit to you that this
path has not changed. In Jeremiah 6 we are asked to
stand at the crossroads and look and choose the
ancient pathway and return. This is at the heart of
our ministry and what inspires the stories we tell.
By returning to the ancient pathway, what some call
Hebrew Roots, we are finding many of the lost or
hidden meanings that were revealed to us through the
life and ministry of Jesus/Yeshua.
We have written some articles over the past several
years and continue to write as ideas come to us from our
reading and conversations. We would like to share some
of these writings with you and enter a conversation with
you that hopefully will expand and grow over time. We
don't expect you to agree with us on everything and we
would appreciate it if you would write us once and
awhile with some feedback. Neither is it our intent to
offend anyone by what we write. Even though Torah has
teachings that run against today's common mainstream
Church, we are not trying to pick a fight. We understand
that YHVH in the presence of the Holy Spirit/Ruach
haKodesh must lead every individual into Truth (Thy Word
is Truth). Yeshua said that was why He must leave so
that the Ruach haKodesh could come and lead us into
Truth. Everyone has their time for revelation and if
these writings irritate or annoy you, maybe your time is
not yet. It is our hope and prayer that this will serve
to help in growing the Body of Messiah into the full
stature that He intended for us all.
